


There is no point in deleting the Adobe PDFViewer plug-in from the Macintosh HD > Library > Internet Plug-Ins folder as the "self-repair" feature of Acrobat / Reader will just reinstall it!.Or you can disable it for security reasons (if you trust Apple to keep their PDF viewing software more up-to-date than Adobe). NOTE: There are potential problems with some versions of the Adobe PDFViewer if you are running Safari in Rosetta or 64 bit mode so you might want to disable the PDF Viewer. To keep the Adobe PDFViewer web browser plug-in up-to-date simply make sure your Acrobat Professional / Reader software is up-to-date.The Adobe PDFViewer web browser plug-in is installed by Acrobat v8 (or later) Reader or Professional version and works with Apple's Safari.
